Male Cassins Finches are identified by their rose-colored crown, breast and rump. The female is brown-streaked with a heavily streaked white belly. The Cassins Finch is a resident of Western United States and Canada preferring high-altitude fir and pine forests. Cassins Finch fare well on traditional Finch staples including Black Oil Sunflower, Sunflower Hearts, Nyjer® Thistle and Millet.
